The Avenue Guest House with 7 rooms is a Victorian Grade II listed building.  A non-smoking family run guest house in a beautiful tree lined avenue, off the main road, yet only 10 minutes walk by the riverside or main road to York Minster and the Historic City Centre

By Car

From the North.  Take the A19 from Thirsk into York.  The Avenue is on the right just past Clifton Green (turn right when you see the opticians & chemist next door).

From the A64 follow the A1237 outer ring road towards the A19 Thirsk signs.  At the A19 turn right towards the city centre and follow the above directions.

From the South. Take the A1237 outer ring road and follow signs to A19 (Thirsk). At the A19 follow above directions.
